KTown213: Hi Ailee, give our viewers your quick intro!
Ailee: Hey KTown213! My name is Ailee and a lot of people pronounce my name in many funky ways it’s Ailee(ay-lee) with a long A haha. I’m an R&B artist currently residing in New Jersey. I’m with Treble & Bassment Records, and I’m being well guided for my career as a singer through them.
Kt213: So how did it all start out for you? Your love for music?
Ailee: Well I guess you can say that every girl dreams about being a singer or a celebrity at least once in her lifetime. It all started when I was a young girl when my mother used to put on Sesame Street and I would sing along and dance along to the music. I knew since then I had to be a singer. Ha ha. I grew up singing and dancing at family get-togethers. In middle school and High school, I would never lose a chance to perform at Talent shows held once a year. I would take that chance to have everyone’s eyes on me and grasp everyone’s attention. This became more serious to me when I had the chance to go to Korea to become a singer there, but I chose not to go and choose the same path as most Korean-American singers in Korea did. Not that going to Korea is bad, but instead, I set my own little goal that I would try to make it BIG in America and be a new example to whoever has the same dream as I do.
